Head Bartender (Leadership Role) Copenhagen Region, Denmark

We are looking for a Head Bartender to join a well-established bar and restaurant concept in the Copenhagen region.

This is a leadership role for someone who wants to take real ownership – not just work behind the bar, but drive structure, standards, and team performance in daily operations.

About the role

You will step into a key position with the responsibility to support and relieve the current bar manager, ensuring smooth operations even in high-pressure environments. You take initiative, stay on top of details, and make sure the team delivers consistently.

The business expands significantly during summer, bringing in many new (often student) staff members. Your ability to lead, onboard, and set clear standards will be crucial.

We are looking for someone who:

• Naturally takes ownership and stays one step ahead
• Has leadership presence – regardless of previous title
• Is structured, solution-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Has experience from bar/restaurant operations and understands real service flow
• Can lead and develop new team members, especially in seasonal peaks
• Has a strong eye for both detail and the bigger picture

This is not for someone who wants to “try it out.”
